他们的罢工原因是什么

最主要的原因是CUPE 1975认为以后三年他们的工资只增长8%，而校方宣称其实是17%，因此校方认为CUPE 1975进行了毫无理由的罢工，态度很强硬。

- 4.5% in 2007 (2.5% salary adjustment plus a 2% performance increment)

- 4.75% in 2008 (2.75% salary adjustment plus a 2% performance increment)

- 5.0% in 2009 (3.0% salary adjustment plus a 2% performance increment)

For a total of 14.25% in base salary increases over 3 years2.5% to support increases to premiums, benefits and pension. In addition, 1.5% to support one-time payments.

基本上有三点

Carry on with your normal duties.

Respect the picket lines and support the strike.

Refuse to do the work of CUPE members.

校方态度强硬，声称CUPE 1975要求无理，并号称很多罢工人士是被恐吓胁迫的，并且号称罢工人员在罢工期间一切收入福利以及保险停止，同时号召事情不要过激。CUPE 1975声称若校方态度好些事情不会变成现在这样，并且宣称得到Sask Tel的支持罢工期间学校电话不通。同时，CUPE提供每天40元的罢工补助，声称National Strike Fund会提供团体人身和健康福利。
